We had the chance to go to Zion National Park with Miranda and do a hike. We highly recommend Angel's Landing for anyone looking for an great hike with spectacular views.
We told Miranda that we were going to do a hike, but we didn't tell her the name of the hike. On the bus to the trailhead, there was a recording telling about different sights and attractions around the park. They talked about Angel's Landing and how it is not recommended for young children or people afraid of heights. They also informed everyone that they have had several fatalities on the trail. When we got to our stop they announced that it was the trailhead for Angel's Landing. With a frightened look in her eye, Miranda's jaw dropped as she hesitantly asked, "We're doing Angel's Landing?" With some reassurance from her dad she fearlessly did the hike.
Cold water!
On the top!
It was a beautiful hike, but very crowed on our way down.
After going on many hikes and other outings with Nate, it was not nearly as frightening as I had expected.

What a gal, Miranda! Proud of you all!
